The pinwheels look like they float! But that's just an illusion created by the ingenious Cutting Corners Ruler.

The pattern was designed by Sharyn Craig (who also created the Cutting Corners Ruler, which is manufactured by Cozy Quilt Designs.) If offers six different sizes and even gives you the template shape if don't (yet) have the ruler.
This sample quilt is created in the Lap size, finishing at 55" by 55".
