Rain..rain..Justifies a lot of sewing!
Hello SLH Followers,
Looks like the rain is trying to make a come back this week! I hope you all were able to enjoy the few days of sunshine last week! We have lots going on around the shop this week. Maret is getting ready to head off to Europe for 3 weeks, Enjoli is as large as ever growing babies (which could show up anywhere from 2-6 weeks from today!) and Angelyn is excitedly telling anyone who will listen about the new Bernina 7-series!
This weeks blog winner is:
Sarah Oyoumick: Reading about this new Bernina 7-Series is exciting. My thoughts run wild at the concept of the bobbin having 80% more capacity. Just imagining what I could do, the joy of not having to change the bobbin so often!
Bernina Repairs & Repair Status:
Our repair promotion is still running through the end of this month (machine must be dropped off or in queue by July 31 to qualitfy). Please remember to mention to our clerks if you called ahead when you are dropping off your machine. This ensures that we do not create duplicate repair tickets for your machine.
Our repair department status is (as of today):
3 machines on the bench
4 machines waiting for parts
12 machines in queue
When you bring in your machine, don't forget to bring:
- #1 foot (or other all purpose foot)
- #3A or buttonhole foot
- power cord
- foot control
- bobbin & bobbin case (if applicable)

Fall Classes & Sample Sneak Peak
Just a reminder that classes will be available on our website on August 1st & Sale weekend will be August 17-19!
We will also be hanging up and putting out the class samples this week, so come on in for a sneak peak of what will be offered this Fall!
There are some amazing projects (not just quilts) and for those of you who are interested in Karen's doll classes.. let me just say that this is one of her cutest dolls yet!
