April Showers bring May Flowers...

Hello SLH Followers,

I think the title phrase should actually be "April melting brings May puddles". I'll figure out who to talk to about that!

On a less slushy note, we do still have two spots left in the Judith Baker Montano retreat in June. You can find more information on our Classes/Retreats page on our website.

Do you have kids in your life that will be needing a fun summer activity?

We have two kids camps coming up in June for ages 9 and up. Younger kids who have taken a camp with us before may sign up for the Garment camp.
There are two sessions. The morning session (8:30-11:30am) will be Garment focused. The afternoon session (1:00-4:00pm) with focus on Quilting, they will be making a nine patch quilt.
The class fee is $159 or $299 with sewing machine. We have a great little Bernette machine that is perfectly suited for kids sewing!

You may sign your kids up for both camps, however there is an hour and a half break in between. There are some very yummy restaurants in the mall so it would be a great opportunity to enjoy a long lunch with your son or daughter. There will be no instructors here during that hour and a half so please be sure to make arrangements for your kids during that time, if they're participating in both camp sessions.

Blog Series: Two for one week!

So, the last couple of weeks I have gotten a bit confused and behind on my blog series! (I'm claiming confusion related to pregnancy!). Anyway, today you all get lucky and get to see two Staff Sewing Studios. Our other two Bernina technicians Lisa Cronkhite & Meg Leonard are our featured staff today!
