Happy Fall!!
Hello SLH Family,
Well, I think its safe to say fall is officially here. If not just in weather, but the much anticipated Fall Class Schedule is now out and posted on the website! Samples are in the store and ready to be drooled over! While I know this may be sad for some of you, I am super excited! Fall is my favorite time of year, and its a good excuse to start scouring Pinterest for new Holiday ideas (yes, its a serious problem I have!)
It seems going into fall has also made me susceptible to new hobbies. Thanks to Caitlin who also works at the shop, I have now decided to take up Cross Stitching (...thanks Caitlin...) Of course she showed me something "I just have to make"! (anyone interested in us carrying cross stitching supplies? Come in and let us know!)
I guess i'll be extremely busy this season, especially considering my little man is starting to move around on his own!

"Stuff Your Sack" Event
Saturday, September 5 from 10-12 noon, Come in and stuff your bag! What ever fits you get! We will have select items in the classroom to choose from. Some items will be brand new and some will be gently used. There will be lots of different items available; fabric, yarn, threads, patterns, books, display, and household items. Put as much stuff as you can into your bag and it's yours! The bag must zip to qualify! Show up at 10am and we will give you a SLH bag to fill with lots of goodies. This event is limited to 30 people, so sign up soon!

Snow Skirt classes are starting!!
I know no one wants to think about snow yet, but its better to be prepared ahead of time, right?! Join Debby in her one of a kind snow skirt class. You will learn how to make those ever coveted insulated skirts for skiing, walking the dog, or just taking a stroll around town!
Wouldn't it be so nice, to just pull out your skirt when the first snow falls?!
Call or come in to get signed up! We just received a huge new shipment of trims, so your skirt can be one of a kind! Classes start this week!
