Fall Classes, Strippers and Thank you's... and the longest email in history!
Hello SLH Family,
Well...the hot weather continues, which makes staying indoors to sew low on the list of to do's! So, this weekend instead of staying indoors, we played outside and celebrated the Twins (the little ones) 3rd birthday! It was Monsters Inc. themed, complete with a Mike and Sully cake!

Strip Club is this week!!
Join us for our monthly Strip Club this Tuesday at 6pm. A $5 cover charge gets you in the door and you receive a complimentary pattern of this months quilt. Check in with Bouncer Arlene and then join other strippers for the show. No experience necessary. Stay a few minutes after club and learn all about "What's New from BU!" (Bernina University). Angelyn and Enjoli will present some exciting new things coming from the world of sewing.
New Yarns and Fabrics!!
We received another GIANT shipment of yarns last week and spent the weekend getting them priced and put out! Also, if you haven't seen them yet, we have the beginning of our Kaffe Fassett collection in the store. This will become a BIG section of Kaffe Fabrics complete with Shot Cotton and prints! Come by this week and check them out!
New Classes!
The Fall Class list is up on the website!! Class Sign up weekend will be August 14,15,16. More details to come but in the mean time you can check out the class offerings and start planning your fall sewing adventures!!
Looking to ease back into sewing for the fall?! Join Angelyn and Enjoli this Friday, August 8th from 6-10 pm for "Just For Me." We sew, we visit and we eat...what better way to get back into the sewing groove!

Last but not least, A BIG heartfelt "Thank You" goes out to everyone who made and brought in quilts for the Willow fire victims! These quilts are being given to the 53 families that lost their homes in this summers wildfire.
