The Wall is Open
Hello SLH Family,
We have so much going on at the shop these days! The wall between our two spaces has finally been opened. Our contractor will be putting on the finishing touches in the next week or two and then we will start filling it up with A LOT of new goodies!
You can look forward to seeing Yarn, Silk Ribbon Embroidery supplies, Quilting stencils and pantographs, as well as more of the everyday quilting goodies we all know and love!
Strip Club Revealed
On the first Tuesday of every month a group of Strippers show up for Strip Club. After making it past Bouncer Arlene, with a $5 cover charge, they are served "shots" of candy, nuts, and assorted treats. They share their projects, earn Club Cash, get a free pattern and do a little community service. Madam Maret reviews the free pattern and explains the monthly challenge. So far Strippers have made NICU sheets, catheter bag covers, dog beds, infinity scarves, Days For Girls bags, Patriotic Quilt Blocks and many other items. Check out our web page for many of these free patterns. These are then donated to a variety of local charities around Anchorage. I dare you to write Strip Club on your family calendar! Plan on joining us at 6pm on Tuesday, April 7.

The BERNINA 5-Groove Cording Foot #25 is designed to couch up to five strands of cording simultaneously using practical or decorative stitches. The cords are fed into special grooves and held in place by a swing-out latch to prevent tangling during the sewing process.
