And.. Now it's Winter

Hello SLH Family,

I guess I am safe to say now that it could officially be Winter! My four year old will be very excited when she gets up this morning! With the first snow fall, it reminds me to be thankful for my warm little house, and the heat coming from my overworked sewing machine!

It is always about this time of year, I think "I guess I should start on Christmas gifts!".. every year! You'd think I would have realized by now to plan a little more ahead! Luckily for those of you out there like me, we have a few fun classes left before our BIG move that would make great Christmas, Hanukkah or hostess gifts!

Check out what's coming up! Click on the photos for more information, and call us to sign up!

Don't forget that Seams Like Home is hosting the first ever Alaska Sewapalooza!

For three fun filled days from 9am-4pm, Thursday-Saturday, October 23-25, we will be playing on Bernina sewing and Embroidery machines! The theme is "travel" ,so we will be creating a travel pillow, shoe sac, wristlet, sachet and a cord caddy! These are fun projects that showcase some amazing Bernina features! We will have special pricing on machines, door prizes, lunch and snacks plus a gift package valued over $80 just for attending! Price is $99 a day and each day is different! Bernina News

25% OFF Bernina Bulky Overlock Foot #12/12C

Bulky Overlock Foot #12/12C was originally designed for stitching heavy sweater knits into garments. The foot has a tunnel or groove on the bottom of the sole that allows bulky knit seam allowances to feed easily under the foot as the seams are stitched. The most common use for this foot today is making custom piping to accent seams and edges of garments, pillows, purses, and other custom made projects.
