Draft a pattern: Comfy Shorts
You will need to take your body measurements in class - best taken over close fitting clothing (ie. tights or leggings)
Supplies needed:
1 yard of pattern ease
Couple pencils (sharp #2), a colored pencil is helpful for drawing changes
Long quilting ruler
Measuring tape
Paper scissors
Fabric scissors or rotary cutter
2 yards of muslin or cotton fabric that can serve as your trial pattern (something you already have in your stash, or an old bedsheet!)
You can determine needed "good fabric" before the second class session - that will need to be washed & dried
Elastic and optional rib knit for waistband
Sewing machine, neutral thread, straight pins and/or clips
