Kids Sewing 1.0



Kids Sewing Class 1.0 is the perfect introduction for young makers who want to explore the world of sewing in a fun, creative, and supportive environment!

Students will learn essential sewing skills including machine safety, how to thread and operate a sewing machine, basic stitching techniques, fabric cutting, and simple pattern reading. Along the way, they’ll create beginner-friendly projects that help build confidence while learning new skills.

Projects may include pillowcases, tote bags, fabric bowls, zippered pouches, and other fun seasonal creations.

This hands-on class encourages creativity, patience, and problem-solving while giving students the satisfaction of making projects they can proudly take home. No previous sewing experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to create!

Recommended for ages 9–15. Students are welcome to bring a snack and drink to enjoy during class. Sewing machines and supplies are included in the class fee.
