Quilt Top Basics: Zamora
This beginner-friendly class is perfect for quilters who are ready to build confidence with cutting, piecing and pressing in a fun and supportive environment. This class focuses on quilt top construction only, quilting and finishing techniques will be discussed.
Students will learn:
- Rotary cutting basics
- Accurate ¼” seams
- Chain piecing
- Quilt top assembly
- Discussion of basic quilting tips and finishing guidance
Supplies:
- Zamora pattern by Villa Rosa Designs (required) Zamora Pattern
- Fabric requirements listed on pattern
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Quilting supplies:
- Rotary cutter
- Scissors
- Cutting mat
- Ruler
- Thread and sewing machine needle
- Pins or clips
- Seam ripper
