Patchwork Hoodie Pocket

Join Enjoli for this fun upcycling class! We’ll take an existing hoodie with a floating pocket (meaning the whole pocket can be removed) and replace it with a fun patchwork pocket. Turn any hoodie into a fun piece of wearable Quilty-art! Using scraps, mini-charms or even selvedges you’ll have a fun “new” hoodie in one class session! Techniques include: ¼” patchwork piecing, layering and quilting a small quilt sandwich and stitch and turn with top-stitching. Batting pieces and template will be provided!
Materials Required: Hoodie with detachable pocket – meaning it is not sewn into the bottom hem of the hoodie. Look in your closet, goodwill or purchase one (my favorite is the Amazon essential hoodie, but these do run small. I wear an XL in this hoodie).
