Boxy Zipper Pouch

Learn how to make this quilted scrappy zipper pouch! The pouch can be used for holding sewing supplies, makeup or whatever you want to place in it. You can use up some of your 2 1/2" jelly roll strips, cut 2-1/2" from your scraps, or you can purchase a mini charm square. You will learn piecing, quilting, inserting a zipper and finishing techniques.
Materials Required:
40 - 2-1/2" squares, cut and ready to use.
1 - fat quarter for the lining
1 - 13" x 17" long fusible interfacing or batting
1 - 14" or longer, zipper, to match or blend with your fabric
What to Bring: sewing machine, thread, wonder clips (or pins), scissors, zipper foot for your sewing machine.
Helpful Tools: stiletto, rotary cutter, walking foot, marking pen or chalk, 505 or other sticky spray if using non-fusible interfacing.
Students must know how to operate and sew with their own sewing machine.
