It is believed that this style of painting quilt patterns directly onto the wood and then hung onto barns originated in Pennsylvania and spread to the other colonies. During the Revolutionary War, Barn Quiltswere used to show American forces that an area was safe, secure, and supplies were available. So why not make your own! Angelyn will bring the boards, paint and supplies needed for you to make your very own Barn quilt! Hang it outside (with appropriate precautions!) or in your sewing room!! Either way it?s going to be a fun time for some non sewing sewing fun!! (barn quilts will be approximately 14? square)
