New Fabric & a Panty Raid
Hello SLH Family,
Phew, it has been a busy week at SLH! Our Q24 Long arm arrived in the shop and we got 14 boxes of NEW fabric! Check out all of the other exciting things happening this week, and come by to see us!
Strip Club
Mark your calendar~it's Strip Club week! Cover charge is $5 and start at 6pm on Tuesday! We have a show and tell and then review the pattern. This months quilt is a fun one with a unique way to cut it out!
Panty Raid Sale~May 8, 9 & 10
As many of you know, SLH has started a group to support "Days for Girls". This is a non-profit organization that provides menstrual items for teen age girls in third world countries. What better way to support "Days for Girls" than to create a sale that is a win-win for all! Bring in a package of new panties and receive a discount on your fabric purchase! Minimum one yard cut is required to receive discount.
One package = 10% off bolt fabric only
Two packages = 20% off bolt fabric only
Three or more packages =30% off bolt fabric only
This batch of panties will be going to Guatemala in July! There are some guidelines of what is acceptable. Please make sure the panties are Girl sizes 10-14. They must be briefs in plain colors, florals or geometric prints. No boxers, high riders, or thongs (sorry strippers) and no animal, camo, or wild designs. Interested in helping more?! Call the shoppe to sign up on one of our sewing days!
New fabrics & bali pops!
It seems like we have already out grown our store! New fabrics have arrived! Gorgeous batiks, Alaskan prints, elegant florals and Eskimo Toss by Barbara Lavalee! Plus we have beautiful bali pops just in time for all you strippers!
Trunk Show
Just hung up and looking fantastic is our trunk show from Wildfire Designs! This is a combination of Alaskan flowers, animals and sea life. Dana, the artist is from the Kenai area! Come in and take a peek! it will inspire you to create your own Alaskan art!

Binder attachment # 88 for unfolded bias tape is ideal for bias-binding fabric edges. The unfolded tape is fed through the attached bias-tape feeder, positioned precisely on the fabric edge, and held in place securely until it is sewn. This produces neat, even edge bindings on home furnishings, quilts, and items of clothing. Available in three versions for tape widths of 28 mm (scant 1-1/8”), 32 mm (1-1/4”) and 38 mm (scant 1-1/2”), Binder attachment # 88 must be used with matching binder foot # 95 / 95C for perfect results.
