Snow, Strippers & Soak
Hello SLH Family,
I hope you all enjoyed our weird Easter snow! My girls were all very excited.. until it melted and they missed out on all the snowy fun!
I don't know about you all, but I'm not normally excited for Mondays, that means the beginning to another week, usually too busy to sew for me. BUT this week I get to head out to Chicago for the Bernina Long Arm Training! YAY! I feel like its FINALLY happening! We are so excited to get our machine into the shop and show you all how wonderful it is! If you follow us on Facebook, make sure to check in this week because I will be posting some previews for you!
For those of you in town this week...
Strip Club
Calling all Strippers! This Tuesday is April's Strip Club! Bring your community and strip club projects for a show & tell! The quilt is beautiful and made with our own SLH strip pack! Starts at 6pm, but you might want to call ahead and pay your club fee of $5 to avoid the lines.
Yarn & Ribbons
We are beginning to receive some of our yarn shipments. Alaska Yarn Company has provided us with beautiful hand dyed sock weight yarn that are perfect for a pair of socks! Yarn kits for baby projects have also arrived! These kits knit up cute little leg warmers and baby hats, plus it includes a bottle of Soak.
We have Soak and Flatter! Soak is a product to use when washing yarns, lingerie, quilts or just about anything! Flatter is an alternative to starch to get your fabrics nice and flat.
