Spring is Coming!
Hello SLH Family,
I hope you all are enjoying our early "Spring"! Yesterday we had our Just For Me class; we unanimously decided that the rain and slick streets meant that we were completely justified to stay in and sew!
The shop is a great place to be when its rainy and dreary outside! We have lots of beautiful, bright fabric to turn your grey day around! Check out our class schedule too if you haven't already! We have some great classes coming up, and they're a sure fire way to get some sewing time in and meet other sewists!

Bernina Foot Of the Month
#31 Pintuck Foot
The 5-Groove Pintuck Foot #31 is especially suited to sewing pintucks on medium weight fabrics when using a double needle...ideal for garment and home décor applications alike. Additionally, the 2 mm grooves running the length of the sole make this foot ideal for sewing braids and mini-piping, as well as for elastic gathering.

Are you looking for a fun, happy place to work?! We are looking for a few great people to join our team! With our coming expansion, we need sewers, quilters, knitters and machine enthusiasts! This position requires you to keep a fast pace, be on your feet and willing to learn! We're looking for someone for a minimum of four days per week, with weekend flexibility!
