We just priced Moda's April Showers Charm Packs, Jelly Rolls, & Mini Charm Packs (2.5" squares)! These cuties are adorable and they will help us look forward to Spring, which should be coming soon, right?! Well, even if spring doesn't show up for a few more months, you can feel spring-y with these pre-cuts! We expect the bolts of fabric to go with these to arrive sometime next month, so grab your pre-cuts before you miss out and are stuck with just getting yardage.
Snow Skirt Pocket Tutorial
As some of you know, the unique and practical snow skirt pattern we sell is written by one of our team members, Debby. She has seen so much popularity for her patterns and her classes on the snow skirt that she's made a blog dedicated to snow skirts, filled tips on how to use her patterns. The current tutorial on her blog shows you how to make the pockets that are written in her pattern. Sometimes you read through pattern and you just wish there were lots of pictures to help! Beginning Silk Dyeing ~ $75 includes a kit
Tuesday February 25 at 5:30-830pm
Learn the basics of silk dyeing in preparation for more advanced classes to come! Techniques to dye 1 silk pillowcase, 1/2 yard of cotton and 1 silk hankie will be taught. This class is for the beginner who wants to challenge themselves to a new art form that can be incorporated into quilts, garments or fiber art.
Classes in a Few Weeks
Binding Workshop ~ $35
Tuesday March 4 at 5:30-8:30pm
This class will teach you some quick and easy binding tricks. You will learn to make square corners and get your binding “full to the edge”.
Camp Stitch A Lot ~ $60
Wednesdays March 5, 12, & 19 at 5;30-8:30pm
This awesome supply bag will carry a small rotary mat plus all your tools and project supplies. You’ll wish you had this bag to bring your supplies to this class!
Beginning Quilt Making ~ $60
Saturdays March 15 & 22 at 12-5pm
Are you new to quilting, or just want to revisit the basics? This is the class for you! Lisa will help you with some basic techniques to create a sampler quilt.
