Quiltmaking: Start to Finish
In this class you will learn everything you need to know to make your own quilts. We will start with learning quilting terms, cutting techniques, fabric selection and quarter inch seams. Then the class will progress into making several different quilt blocks, using a variety of quilting skills such as, applique, using templates, and sewing triangles, squares and bias edges. We will complete the quilt with batting, backing, and binding as well as quilting and adding a label. There will be several guest speakers throughout the duration of the class.
