Beginning Knitting

You have seen those knitters knitting away on beautiful projects and you are ready to see how it is done. This class starts at the beginning with a sample prepared for you to learn the basic knit stitch and the basic purl stitch. The second session will end with a cast off after checking progress and looking at trouble spots. You will be introduced to basic knitting tools, lingo and we will measure our gauge. Now that you have your first gauge swatch, you will be ready to move on to a real project of your choice.
