I will be teaching you the basics of this traditional over garment. Kuspuks made from lightweight cotton material are typically worn during the warmer months. We will be focusing on the snow shirt style kuspuk. Students need to have basic sewing machine experience. You will need to have your fabric washed, dried and ironed before class begins. You want to preshrink your fabric so that when you sew your kuspuk, it will be the true size that you want. We will help with sizing and alterations to the pattern such as rounding of the hood or adding and subtracting length.
